Weekend

Hello all!
It was in the high 40's today! Woo! What a warm December!

This weekend was extra fun- a group of us went Midnight Bowling.I haven't been since I was probably 15. Basically it is bowling, in the dark, with black lights, and loud music playing. Way more fun than you think. It is awesome!

Then on Sunday Tom and I did some Christmas shopping. I am only about 30 percent done. More will be done this coming weekend (hopefully). I also went to my mom's house Sunday night to eat dinner and say farewell to my grandmother, who left on a plane to Italy today to spend Christmas with her twin brother. It will be sad without here here for the holidays this year! But we are going to celebrate with her when she gets back in January.

I am about to go to bed with a sock in my hair. Seriously. I saw a picture on Pinterest ( obsessed) and I decided to try it out. Basically, you roll your hair into a sock bun, and supposedly when you are done you have beautiful curls. I am skeptical but I will definitely be letting you know how it goes.

All Bundled Up

It's cold around here! All the leaves have fallen and there is a definite chill in the air. We even had our first real snow fall. It all melted the next day, but it still counts! It is definitely beginning to feel like winter.

I just adore this coat I got from Target! I am bummed it is getting cold because I am going to have to move on to a more winter friendly coat- this one is rather thin.

We have our cookie exchange at work this Saturday and I need help on a yummy recipe! Anyone out there know one? I always make my Grandmother's lemon cake cookies, but this year I am thinking of trying out something new.

so furry!

Sometimes it's necessary to have a little fun getting dressed.

I saw this vest on Ebay about a year ago, and I bought it instantly. Isn't it awesome?!

I've only worn it a handful of times because I really don't have anywhere to wear it. I wore it once to work last fall and ended up taking it off because I was afraid I would get color on it. It is so fun though. I want to listen to old David Bowie when I wear it.

And here I am without the vest.

Thursday Top Ten

It has been far too long since I did a ton ten list! I think the last was right before Halloween..eek!

Today's list has no real theme. It is merely a random list of things I am loving at the moment. Enjoy the randomness that is my blog!

1. These are my favorite pants. Ever. I own 3 pairs of these, and they are the comfiest, stretchiest, not too tight where my butt looks ginormous, pants I own.

2. I am so excited to watch this movie tonight. I saw it in the theater and it was hilarious. Paul Rudd's character is so sweet and innocent. And Zooey is in it. Score!

3. This store has some of the sweetest dresses. I just ordered the blue Georgia dress and I can't wait to wear it!
