Floral and Blue

Hello lovelies! Egads, it has been a while since my last outfit post! I have just been busy running around!

We took this over the weekend at a pretty little park. It is sad to look at because I know the leaves are mostly on the ground now! We have had super warm weather, but the wind has been a little strong and blown leaves all over the place. 90 percent of the trees on my street are bare now. Wah!

Aren't those blue/teal tights awesome?! I love the color of them! I am such a sucker for colored tights!

Today I am going to try and get some decorating done around the house..I still can't part with my little ghost pillow. But Halloween is over and Christmas is fast approaching. How crazy that next week is Thanksgiving already?
I have also been in talks with my friend Sam about going back to Wilmington, NC later this winter..like around Feb-March. Hmm.. I am dying to go back so we shall see!!

It is super rainy and icky here in Illinois today. All I want to do is curl up with my coffee and cuddle with Oscar all day. But alas, I have other commitments.

At our salon we usually make a mini-magazine every season or so, showcasing different colors or cuts and usually featuring clothing from a store around the area. It is nice to give our clients something different to look at and to also give them some inspiration.

So today we will be shooting our next magazine. And it will probably take all day. But no complaints here because my sister is my model this time around. Yay. I get to hang out with her all day and make some pretty hair.

PS- I was in the last magazine we did. Yikes.

New Found Glory

Last night, I went with a group of friends to Iowa City, Iowa to see a New Found Glory show. It was amazing!

I used to listen to them all the time when they released their first couple albums, and their music reminds me of being a teenager. They seem like such a great group of guys and they really put on a great show!
Set Your Goals, The Wonder Years, Man Overboard, and This Time Next Year also played. Super lineup.

We went to the Blue Moose Tap House, which is a bar with a space in the back for shows. It is a smaller area and so we were all packed in there. I got all sweaty but I had such a great time.

I took these pictures on my IPhone so they aren't the greatest! I was too busy jumping! 

this is such a gross picture. i guess this means i have taken our blog relationship to the next level, eh?

After the show we went to Pita Pit, my favorite! I wish we had one in our area! The closest is Iowa City, which is 45 minutes away. Boo!

Olive and Mustard

Yay for Friday! I am so glad it's the weekend! Even though I'm not sure why because I have to work. And it will be cold. But yay!

Yesterday I ventured to Iowa City to go shopping at the store Francesca's Closet. I have ordered stuff online before but never been to an actual store. It is the cutest. I'm serious.
I got a ton of stuff so I will have to take some pictures when I am wearing it because you guys are going to die..it's that cute!

Pretty Leaves

Tom snapped these pictures of me last weekend. We went to one of the nearby parks to try and get some good tree shots.

The leaves are so pretty and the view behind the trees is of the Mississippi River. Such a great lookout point.

I still can't believe it is November already!
I haven't been up to much lately..Working a ton. Spending time with my Tom and Oscar. I have been spending a lot of time with my sister too. It has been lovely.

I am reading The Hunger Games right now and it has got me soooo hooked. It is so hard to put it down. I love it.
I am also hoping to go get the movie Water for Elephants today. I read that book a while back and fell so in love with it. Hopefully the movie is good! If you haven't read it yet- READ IT!
