Guest Post- Diary of this girl Megan

Hello! My name is Megan, and I blog at I am thrilled to be here while my new blogging friend and yours truly, Katie, is on vacation J
Until recently, my favorite shopping destinations were Forever 21, Kohl’s, Nordstrom Rack, Macy’s, etc. etc. However, after reading about successful shopping trips via thrifting from fellow bloggers, I wanted to give it a try. Oh my goodness, it is phenomenal.
Here are a few photos and purchases from a recent thrifting adventure…

Endless possibilities.

Organization and separation makes sifting through the racks much easier.
{ This is the setup at a local Goodwill }

A few purchases J
1.       Vintage blazer (8 dollars)
2.       Nordstrom blouse (7 dollars)
3.       Banana Republic sweater (11 dollars)
4.       Scarf (1 dollar)
5.       Second scarf (2 dollars)

As you can see, thrifting is relatively inexpensive; the clothing, accessories, shoes, and bargains you can find are truly unbelievable! Although thrifting is new to me, I am slowly learning how to be successful. It does require patience, as going through the numerous racks can be tiresome. Areas I always look at? Blouses, dresses, boots and purses. As these are the areas I devote the most time to, I am usually most successful there J  Come visit me and say hello! Thanks for having me!

I love hearing from you! I try to respond to all comments so keep checking back!
